Hannibal: Its official - Clarice is getting
a face lift though not from the good Dr. Lecter. In an upcoming interview
in 'W Magazine', Jodie Foster revealed that she will NOT be reprising her
role of FBI Agent Clarice Starling in the upcoming sequel to "The Silence
of the Lambs". Foster says "I stand to make more money doing that sequel
than I've ever made in my life, but who cares if it betrays Clarice - who
is a person, in some strange way, to me".
Dogma: Movieweb got some
new publicity shots from Kevin Smith's religious-toned comedy "Dogma" which
opens next Friday. Cast and crew have begun the talkshow circuit, Smith and
Jason Mewes will appear on tomorrow's "MTV Total Request Live", Ben Affleck
will show up on next Tuesday's "Conan O'Brien" and Smith will be on next
Wednesday's "Politically Incorrect".
The X-Files: TV Guide
reports that after six and half seasons of the best UST (underlying sexual
tension) between two people on television, the fourth episode of the new
season (scheduled to air Nov. 28th) will feature an honest-to-god, no holds
barred smooch between Agents Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian
Anderson). This episode, set around New Year's Eve is also the one featuring
"Millenium" character Frank Black (Lance Henrikssen) to tie up that show's
loose ends.
House On Haunted Hill: It was number one it's first
two weeks and is still going strong! It seems this gory little
action-packed Horror flick has been doing great business proving once again
how crowds cannot get enough good, creepy fun. Congratulations are in order
to Warner Brothers for this one.
Sleepy Hollow: Mcfarlane Toys have produced three
action figures for the film: Icabod Crane (Johnny Depp), The Horseman
(Christoper Walken), and the old crone They are hitting stores now
and we suggest you grab em while you can The film will be in theaters
by mid-November and you should not miss it, or these fabulously detailed
figures!
